Welcome to the American Prosthodontic Society web site.  From its inception in 1928 by a group of seventeen dedicated dentists, the Society has sought to promote the advancement of prosthetic dentistry.  By integrating the skills and expertise of the generalist, specialist and dental laboratory technologist, it has continuously strived to improve the quality of prosthodontic treatment for our patients through education and research.

 MISSION: To promote the advancement of the discipline of prosthodontics by integrating the generalist, specialist and dental laboratory technologist in a manner that will continuously seek improvement of patient treatment. We will accomplish this through education and research.
